"Not at all dr continue I want to hear and see the truth" chima said as he was becoming impatient.
" Ok the truth is..., Hmm I don't know how to say this because of the way you're looking at me" Grace said as she was trying to look for the best way to really convince chima to believe as he really trusted her.
"oh no not the way you think dr ok go on" Chima said as he now relax his back on his chair looking more relaxed in other to get the information from her.
" Ok sir the truth is before you even thought of dating her she had a boyfriend which she love but wasn't rich like you" grace pause as she try to see if Chima will start acting rude towards her as she was trying to play safe.
" Ok is that all? dr am all hears" chima said as he find It hard to believe it.
"ok let me continue so this her boyfriend travel to see her sick mother in their village he came back day before yesterday and discover that she was cheating as he broke her new phone you bought for her, your text messages and conversation on whatsapp was what lead to this but.." grace said as she wanted to continue but chima had something to say.
"Are you telling me she lied to me and that's why she have been unable to communicate with me? How true is this" chima ask as he started getting scare of what she was saying to be true.
"hmm pls calm down sir ,ok her boyfriend left her after he discover this and she regret ever knowing you promising herself to run your account dry and run away with all your money, I know I shouldn't have interfere but I really like you sir and don't want such thing to happen to you" grace said as she knew her friend will never share any part of the money with her.
"hmmm are you sure of what you're saying because if this is a lie I will find you and deal with you" chima said as he stood up immediately and went inside as he was short temper,
Few minutes later chima wore a black short and a black polo with a gold watch coming out to the sitting room
Grace admire all part of his body and even his cloth as all her eye was slowly.drawn to the gold watch on chima's hand.
"Eh you said we are saying the truth I want to see patricia myself to confirm all what you're saying Is true" Chima said as he look at his watch again on his hands then look at her as he noticed her attention was now on his watch.
"What's it ?" Chima ask
"Eh nothing at all I was wondering if you can tell me your time" grace said as she stood up and hold his hands softly carrying it up.
"What's it ?" Chima ask again
"Ok now I know the time" grace said smiling.
"Oh sorry you're looking so restless see I have a plan on how you're going to catch her ok? Trust me If you are to go there now the will be no evidence" grace said as she held his right hand and pull him towards herself and slowly help chima sit like some who needed assistant.
"Hmm am still finding it difficult to believe you " chima said as he sit gently and remove her hands that was still holding him.
"So what's your plan hope you're not trying to set her up" chima said looking at her suspeciously as he wonder what type of friend she was.
"Hmm I don't have to talk much again she will tell you rest with her own mouth but first I will help you see what she has been doing" grace said as she look deep into chima's eyes which was already in deep pains.
"Here is the plan..."
